RDIF and Dalkia signed a cooperation
agreement about energy efficiency
and JSC Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye
and the EDF Group signed an urban
energy planning contract for the city
of Moscow.
Science and education were not
forgotten, as the Russian and French
Academies of Sciences signed a
memorandum about the joint
development of projects and scienti-
fic programmes.
Industry
In industry, Kamaz and Air Liquide
entered into a twenty-year contract
for technical gas supplies; Poma,
North Caucasus and LLC National
Ropeways signed a contract for the
joint design and supply of mechanical
equipment for the Elbrus ski resorts.
Furthermore, ODK and Safran signed
a framework agreement for the
replacement of the engines of the
Be-200 amphibious aircraft.
Finally, let us not forget regional
projects: the French company FM
Logistic is planning to invest 2.5
billion roubles to build a large logis-
tics complex in the area of the Platov
airport in the Rostov region

Partnerships
On 13 June 2018, one month after the
Economic Forum, the French compa-
ny Bostik officially opened the second
warehouse of the city of Novosibirsk.
Aggreko signed a protocol of
agreement with the governor of the
autonomous district of Chukotka,
enabling them to participate in the
combined production of heat and
electricity to supply to cities. The
total amount of the investments
will be more than six billion roubles.
This new logistics site will enable
faster availability of products for the
customers and partners of the
major cities of Siberia: Tomsk,
Kemerovo, Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk
and Novokuznetsk

On 6 August 2018, the French company
BlaBlaCar and the Russian company
E-Mail.ru Group announced a
partnership. Starting this autumn,
BeepCar’s services will be taken over
by BlaBlaCar. Nicolas Brusson, the
CEO of BlaBlaCar, hopes that this
acquisition will enable the French
company to develop and intensify its
activity in Russia. BlaBlaCar is
already one of the largest suppliers
of ride-sharing services in the
Russian Federation. There are fifteen
million users of the company
in Russia and sixty-five million
worldwide

In June 2018, the French company
Analytic Biosurgical Solutions
announced its intention to move its
production to Russia. However, the
location of the site has not yet been
defined

.
More recently, on 10 September,
Leroy Merlin announced the cons-
truction of its largest logistic centre
in the Moscow region. By 2025, more
than ten billion roubles will have
been invested in the project, leading
to the creation of nearly a thousand
jobs. Finally, in the Dmitrovsky
district in the Moscow region, the
construction of the ‘Severnaja zvez-
da’ site was officially inaugurated - it
will be the largest retail site in the
country. The foundation stone was
laid on 6 September 2018
