Un mois après le Forum économique,
le 13 juin 2018, la société française
Bostik ouvrait officiellement le
deuxième entrepôt de la ville de
Novossibirsk. Aggreko a signé un
protocole d’entente avec le gouver-
neur du district autonome de la
Tchoukotka, lui permettant de parti-
ciper à la production combinée de
chaleur et d’électricité pour l’appro-
visionnement des villes. Le montant
total des investissements sera de
plus de six milliards de roubles. Ce
nouveau site logistique permettra
d’assurer une disponibilité plus
rapide des produits pour les clients
et partenaires des grandes villes
de Sibérie : Tomsk, Kemerovo,

Le 6 août 2018, l’entreprise française
BlaBlaCar et l’entreprise russe
Mail.ru Group annonçaient leur par-
tenariat. À partir de cet automne, les
services de BeepCar seront ainsi
redirigés vers BlaBlaCar. Son direc-
teur général, Nicolas Brusson, espè-
re ainsi que cette acquisition permet-
te à l’entreprise française de dévelop-
per et intensifier son activité en
Russie. BlaBlaCar compte déjà parmi
les plus importants fournisseurs de
services de covoiturage en Fédération
de Russie. Le nombre d’utilisateurs
de la compagnie s’élève à quinze
millions en Russie, et soixante-cinq
millions à travers le monde

L’entreprise française Analytic
Biosurgical Solutions avait égale-
ment annoncé fin juin 2018 son inten-
tion de localiser sa production en
Russie. L’emplacement du site
n’avait pour autant pas encore été
défini

Plus récemment, Leroy Merlin a
annoncé, le 10 septembre, la cons-
truction dans la région de Moscou de
son plus grand centre logistique.
D’ici 2025, plus de dix milliards de
roubles seront investis dans le projet,
générant ainsi la création de près de
mille emplois. Enfin, dans le quartier
Dmitriovsky de la région de Moscou,
a officiellement été inauguré le début
de la construction du site « Severnaja
zvezda », qui sera le plus grand site
de distribution du pays. La première
pierre a été posée le 6 septembre
2018

From 2014 to 2017, France was
number one for foreigndirect investment
in Russia

. There were also geographic
developments. French companies used
to be mostly installed in Saint Peters-
burg and Moscow, but they are also
setting up business in Central Russia
and have started to move towards the
Far East, encouraged by the Russian
authorities that wish to develop these
new regions. In sectoral terms, the
French economic presence in Russia
has also diversified in recent years.
Apart from the sectors in which French
companies are very much represen-
ted, bilateral projects have developed,
especially in waste recycling, energy
efficiency and the Internet Of Things.
Energy
The Saint-Petersburg Economic
Forum led to the signature of more
than fifty agreements. The Russian
State Corporation Rosatom and
the French Atomic Energy and
Alternative Energy Commission
(CEA) signed a ‘Strategic Document
on Franco-Russian partnership for
the peaceful use of nuclear energy’.
Meanwhile, Tekhsnabexport (Tenex
brand, a subsidiary of Rosatom)
and the EDF group signed several
contracts concerning the conversion
and enrichment of French reprocessed
uranium. In the energy sector too, the
Russian direct Investment Fund
(RDIF) and Schneider Electric
committed themselves to making
joint investments to develop energy
savings technologies; Rosatom -
Automated Control Systems (RASU)
and Schneider Electric signed a
memorandum about the joint imple-
mentation of projects for the nuclear
energy market in Russia and abroad;
the Siberia Interregional Distribution
Grid Company and the Russian
representative office of the French
company SAFT are planning to merge
to improve the quality of the energy
supply of the distant regions of
Siberia; Novatek and the Total Group
signed a memorandum of understan-
ding for developing the Arctic LNG-2
project. Finally, Rosneft and the Suez
Group signed a strategic cooperation
agreement.
Agreements were also signed in the
environment sector. Veolia and RDIF
