The project is aimed at solving the
problem of deliveries in the historic
centres of cities, where transport
flows are limited. CityLogin has
already been launched, especially in
Rome, Paris and Madrid, and it is
very popular among small and
medium-sized store owners. The
Russian subsidiary has bought two
IVECO Daily light trucks to quickly
deliver goods with high rotation rates
in the centre of Moscow.
The advantage of trucks that run
on natural gas (methane) is the
reduction of CO
2
emissions and noise
pollution.
Vehicles without CO
2
emissions are
used for the programme, i.e. twenty-
five percent less than the Euro-5
standard.
A special feature of the CityLogin
project in Russia is that the vehicles
are equipped with security measures
to enable the transport of expensive
goods. The goal is to continue to
invest in this type of solution.
How do you see the development of
FM Logistic in Russia in the more or
less long term? What will you be
focusing on?
FM Logistic is following the global
strategy of our 2022 plan and in line
with the vision of the company:
“ Teams creating solutions for a
sustainable supply chain, contribu-
ting to a better quality of life”.
This also concerns our Russian
division. Its growth and annual
development show the validity of the
measures that we are taking. With
our vision, we are advancing serene-
ly towards the future.
According to forecasts, the company
will complete the 2018-2019 financial
year with revenues above seventeen
billion roubles. The total area of
our warehouses will reach 793,000
square metres, thanks to the growth
of areas in the Kaluga and Leningrad
regions.
FM Logistic plans to invest three
hundred and sixty million roubles
in facilities and thirty-one million
roubles in staff development.
Our priorities for next year include
the improvement of customer service,
digitalization, robotization and the
automation of various processes, as
well as reducing all tasks with no
added value inside our organization.
In parallel we will implement new
initiatives, new concepts and more
complex solutions for our clients and
we will start new geographies which
will be the pillars of FM Logistic in
the future.
